2. General information, not an offer
The website gives general information about EJCS and its capabilities. Its content is not engineering advice for a particular application, a binding quotation, a contractual offer or a guarantee that a particular process or material is suitable for your requirement.
A contract is formed only when the relevant parties agree it separately. Quotations, project work and manufactured goods may be subject to additional terms recorded in the applicable quotation, purchase order, specification or project agreement.
3. Content and intellectual property
EJCS owns, or is authorised to use, the website design, text, graphics, photographs, project imagery and other content. You may view the site and make reasonable internal copies for the purpose of considering EJCS services. You must not reproduce, publish, sell, modify or commercially exploit website content without prior written permission or another lawful basis.
4. Material you send to us
If you send a drawing, CAD file, photograph, specification or other material, you confirm that you are authorised to provide it for the requested purpose. Ownership of your material does not transfer to EJCS merely because it is sent to us. We may use it to assess the enquiry, prepare a quotation and, if agreed, carry out or support the relevant work.
Email is not a specialist secure file-transfer service. Please contact us before sending export-controlled, unusually sensitive or access-restricted material so that an appropriate method can be discussed.
5. Acceptable use
You must not misuse the website, attempt unauthorised access, interfere with its operation, knowingly introduce malicious code, scrape it in a way that impairs the service, or use its content for an unlawful purpose.

8. Liability
Nothing in these terms excludes or limits liability where it would be unlawful to do so, including liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation. Subject to that, EJCS is not liable for loss arising solely from reliance on general website content instead of an agreed project specification or professional advice, or for indirect or consequential loss arising from use or unavailability of the website.
